DearWebby is actually Helmut Morscher, the CEO of Webby, inc.
Originally the "Tech Support Pits" were reports of the funniest tech support incidents, but over the years the
column gradually shifted to answering tech support questions put forward by the readers of the Dear
Webby Humor Letter.
This collection of computer and web advice was started partly because readers demanded an archive, and partly
because some questions were asked again and again. Each page has a different day's Tech Support Pits column.

Tech Support Pits column from Dear Webby's Humor Letter of
03/22/04: More about Slow Outlook
Tech Support Pits:
From Mary===
As a user of Outlook Express , I have found this site to be
most helpful when I have a question about how to manage
my emails and files I have in Outlook Express.
Perhaps you could pass it on to another Jackass , like
myself,,, who uses this program that came with my
windows xp
http://faq.comcast.net/faq/query.jsp?name=Email#Outlook_Express
I know you recommend something else,,, but who are you
being too stubborn now to even give something else a try?
I have tried your email program and found it confusing to
me--
but what isn't confusing to *ME*?
So Have Fun and Learn something new everyday.
That is what I *TRY* to do .
*ME*

Dear, Mary, if you like Outlook, then use it. I just wish
Microsoft would run their own Outlook tech support,
instead of delegating it to me. The more Outlook related
help requests and sob stories I get, the less likely it is
that I am going to use it myself.
Have FUN!
