Dear Webby,
How often should laptop batteries be drained completely
to make them last longer ? We use a laptop as a desktop
because of the small size of our apartment, and it's always
plugged in and charging.

Once a month seems to work out fine.
Make sure you don't disable the power saving features when
you run it down. They will drain it at a slower rate and more
completely. That gives you a bigger capacity.
