DearWebby is actually Helmut Morscher, the CEO of Webby, inc.
Originally the "Tech Support Pits" were reports of the funniest tech support incidents, but over the years the
column gradually shifted to answering tech support questions put forward by the readers of the Dear
Webby Humor Letter.
This collection of computer and web advice was started partly because readers demanded an archive, and partly
because some questions were asked again and again. Each page has a different day's Tech Support Pits column.

Tech Support Pits column from Dear Webby's Humor Letter of
11/12/04: Office paper
Tech Support Pits:
From Britta===
Dear Webby:
What kind of paper is best for general office use? I get
confused with all the different types that are available.
And where is the best place to get it?
Britta
Dear Britta
For general office use I would recommend
"20 pound copy paper"
It works fine in laser and inkjet printers.
The best place to get it is Staples. Staples is maybe
not the cheapest, but you can order on-line and they
deliver for free if your order is $50 or more.
Just pad your order up to $50 with stuff you need
anyway. They have coffee filters and even office grade
coffee makers, and all kinds of essentials.
Buy the paper by the case (10 packs of 500). Ask your
friends and neighbors if they need paper and sell them
500 packs for a bit less than they would pay if they
went downtown to buy a 500 pack. Make sure there is
one pack left over for you !
Have FUN!
